Prospects for Snow Wednesday/Thursday


The general consensus on Wednesday's snow seems to be about 2 to 4 inches, although several outlets are calling for 3 to 6 inches. Grades for the forecast performance of this event should come out midday Thursday. Sign up in the box to the right to receive regular updates.

Wednesday a.m. 3 to 6 inches but notes "higher than usual bust potential with this forecast."
Tuesday p.m. 2 to 5 inches for central metro.

    I do believe as of Wednesday AM the NWS is predicting 3-6 and Paul D (specifically Todd from the Star Trib in his place) is just reporting the NWS change and advisory.

  2. Thanks for the site feedback, Erik. According to Wunderground, my NWS source, the text forecast still says 2-4, although the more recent advisory statement does say 3-6. Wish they'd be consistent!
